Dead Eyes Burn- Pariah of The Black Gates

Dead Eyes Burn started in May of 2003, out of frustration and anger. Not in the mood to make something too structured or even "music" persee; just wanting to make something horrendous and vicious to those who heard it, I started sculpting feedbacks and various loops together. Layering them into each other and adding on top, drones and other noises created through a guitar with plenty of effects, each track took it's own shape. Of course it only made 2 tracks, but each was quite lengthy, and that completed the first demo, "Pariah By Choice". "Pariah..." was only available for a brief time online before I took it down to conserve ftp space. I recorded again in August 2003, this time with the guitar as the main sound source, sometimes the only. This time it was less structured and more freeform, a little harsher, and to me with a much better production. This time, 3 lengthy tracks which overlap to make one large, lengthy track, made up the second demo, "Beyond The Black Gates" which was available for an even shorter amount of time online (without even art), before it was removed. Enter the year 2005 ... the double demo release, "Pariah of The Black Gates" which includes both 2003 demos, "Pariah By Choice" and "Beyond The Black Gates" together. Featuring full artwork by EXE Designs, based up on the concept of a tribute to the artwork stylings of Swans.
