Moonlit Sun - The Smell Of Soil Amidst Haunted Meadows

This fully improvised composition by Canada’s Moonlit Sun was recorded in real time in one continuous take on a dim evening, April 2008. Moonlit Sun uses hardware, custom instruments and natural objects only. On this release: butter knives, black sphere, iron tower, octagon tower grill, guitar multi-effects processors (8 second sampler), delay and distortion pedals, hardware compressor and 16 channel mixer. This plethora of, sometimes illustriously named, gear makes for an intriguing sound! The piece travels through areas of dark ambient, noise and experimental composition. At first, this might seem an odd-one-out for Okkulth, but once you’ve delved in deeply, you will recognize the signature sound, feel and atmosphere without a doubt!

“100% improvised music”
